Our global Law Firm client is seeking to recruit an E-Discovery Manager to serve as the subject matter expert in planning, managing and consulting on e-discovery projects for the firm’s global litigation practice.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert in planning, managing and consulting on e-discovery projects for the firm’s global litigation practice
- Provide e-discovery services to the firm’s clients, lawyers, and professional staff
- Utilized and leverage cutting-edge technologies to support cases and firm clients
- Participate in and lead team meetings to design project scope, project milestones and deadlines
- Collaborate with firm clients and team members to understand e-discovery lifecycle and develop case specific plans in line with client guidelines and budgets
- Manage the identification, preservation and collection of ESI and paper documents
- Oversee and monitor document preservation and ensure client data progresses efficiently through the e-discovery lifecycle
- Work closely with and manage external e-discovery vendors and ensure vendor invoicing is complete
- Track and manage ESI throughout project lifecycle
- Assist with process improvement projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree; JD is a plus
- 5+ years’ e-discovery project planning and management
- Broad knowledge of the e-discovery process
- Fundamental knowledge of evolving e-discovery standards and litigation support services and technologies
- Experience with Relativity required
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while providing superior client service
- Organized, deadline driven and highly motivated
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Off-hour and weekend flexibility when required
- Off-site travel required when necessary
